{"id":73,"date":"2018-01-17T03:39:29","date_gmt":"2018-01-17T02:39:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mariavedder.sights1.atria.uberspace.de\/?page_id=73"},"modified":"2018-03-01T19:05:03","modified_gmt":"2018-03-01T18:05:03","slug":"maria-vedder","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.mariavedder.de\/en\/","title":{"rendered":"Maria Vedder"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Maria Vedder works as a media artist since the late seventies and has exhibited in Europe, Australia and Asia, her videos have been shown all over the world.<\/p>\n<p>Her works are in the collections of the Museum Ludwig in Cologne, Germany; Neuer Berliner Kunstverein, Germany; Tate Gallery, Liverpool, England; Gallery Shimada, Yamaguchi-Shi, Japan; Gallery Scan, Tokyo, Japan; and others.<\/p>\n<p>She has written books about video: \u201eKunst und Video\u201c and \u201eDuMonts Handbuch der Videopraxis\u201c (DuMont-publishing house, Cologne, Germany).<\/p>\n<p>In 2012 she received the grant EMARE MEXICO of the European Commission. 2014 she won the special of the jury of the Kunstpreis\/art-award \u201cHaus am Kleistpark Berlin\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>She has spent long periods doing artistic research in Asia, where she has also has been a guest lecturer on numerous occasions.<\/p>\n<p>After some guest professorships at several universities\u00a0she has been a full professor at the Berlin University of the Arts, Germany, from 1991 \u2013 2014.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Maria Vedder works as a media artist since the late seventies and has exhibited in Europe, Australia and Asia, her videos have been shown all over the world.
